WAYNESBORO, Va. ? Mary Hilda Price Kessler Selbe, 79, of Waynesboro, died Thursday, May 22, 2008, at Augusta Medical Center.
Born in Greenbrier County, she was a daughter of the late Jim and Opal McClung Price.
Mary was retired from Con-Agra Foods in Crozet, Va., she loved NASCAR, and was a truly devoted mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Kessler; an infant son, Ronnie Kessler; and her brother, Kenneth Price.
Survivors include her son, Tommy Kessler and his wife, Johanna, of Waynesboro; a daughter, Judy Love and her husband, Melvin, of Crozet; two brothers, Harold Price of Rupert and Alonzo Price and his wife, Goldie, of Beckley; a sister, Velma Jones of Rupert; three grandchildren, Courtney Kessler, Samuel Sadler and his wife, Becky, and Tiffany Sadler; and four great-grandchildren, Andrew and Ashleigh Sadler and Sean and Hailey Mawyer.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. today at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 961 Goose Creek Road, Fishersville, Va.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to HOPE/AMC Center, 459 Locust Ave., Charlottesville, VA 22902, or to Stuarts Draft Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 260, Stuarts Draft, VA 24477.
Graveside funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville.
