Notes - Arthur W. Crane belonged to the Chicago Union Printers Home No. 16, admitted in May 1917 at age 52. He vacated in August 1917 at age 53 to go to work.

Arthur W. Crane died at the age of 59 years on September 4, 1925. He was an old and well-known member of No. 16 and enjoyed the reputation of being an all-around athlete. He was a ball player of some renown and for some time was the amateur champion middle-weight boxer. He was also physical director of the Milwaukee Athletic Club. In the early days he worked on the Chicago Time, but at the time of his death he was a member of the Tribune chapel.

CRANE - Arthur W. Crane, beloved husband of Bella Crane and brother of Virginia A. Hanke. Funeral Saturday, Sept. 5, at 2 o'clock from chapel, 226 W. Randolph st., to Rosehill.
