CLINTONVILLE -- Elaine Elizabeth Wiseman Loudermilk, 78, passed away at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2005, at her home on Loudermilk Farm.
Born Jan. 11, 1927, in Winona, she was the daughter of the late Edgar H. and Nina Ayers Wiseman.
Elaine was a loving wife and mother of seven children.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Carl J. Loudermilk; three brothers, Glen, Tom and Basil Wiseman; four sisters, Mary Marshall Wiseman, Lena Mae Rymer, Nell Beery and Alice White; and a grandson, Denver Loudermilk.
Survivors include daughters, Darlene Piercy and husband, Maynard, of Belew Creek, N.C., Ann Loudermilk of Indianapolis, Ind., Alice Marie "Pete" Sears and husband, Bill, of Indianapolis and Barbara Clower and husband, Steve, of Clintonville; sons, Jerry Combs and wife, Evelyn, of Cleveland, Ohio, Denny Loudermilk and wife, Jackie, of Clintonville and Dave Loudermilk and wife, Robin, of Clintonville; 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home, Lewisburg. Burial will follow in Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville.
Friends may call 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be David Loudermilk, Denny Loudermilk, Jerry Combs, Scott Clower, C.L. Piercy and Daniel Loudermilk.
