CHARMCO - Charles A. Williams, 99, of Charmco, Greenbrier County, died Nov. 25, 1998, in Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, Fairlea, after a long illness.
He was a retired schoolteacher with 46 years' service, a farmer, and a former employee of Ford Motors Co., Detroit, and Meadow River Lumber Co.
Surviving: daughters, Velma Alley and Patricia Williams, both of Charmco; sons, Richard and Galen Williams, both of Rainelle, Jack Williams of Rupert, Robert Williams of Cincinnati, James Williams of Charleston; 23 grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle, with the Rev. Houston Boothe officiating. Entombment will be in Wallace Memorial Mausoleum, Clintonville. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
