Archie Martin Dies In Maryland EAST RAINELLE, Nov. 5 - J. Archie Martin, 54-year-old former resident of East Rainelle died at 5:30 on Tuesday evening at his home at Westminster, Md., following a four year's illness. Born at Rupert Dec. 17, 1897, he was a son of the late James E. Martin and Sallie E. Kessler Martin. He was a former electrician and well known throughout this area. He had lived in Maryland for about two years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Vicie Henson Martin; sic [sic] children, James Franklin, Harold, Robert, Virginia Ann, and twins Helen and Harland. Also surviving are two sisters, Misses Tessie and Mary Sue Martin of East Rainelle; and five brothers, Dr. H. C. Martin of East Rainelle; Wade Martin, Rupert; Amen P. Martin, East Rainelle; G. B. Martin, Charleston, and Kenton Martin, Rupert. The body is being returned to the Nickell Mortuary where funeral arrangements are pending.
