MRS. C. C. YOUNG DIES AT HOSPITAL
Mrs. C. C. Young, 70, resident of Southside, died in the Hinton Hospital this morning at 4:45 a. m. of a heart condition. She had been a patient in the hospital since Sunday.
Born in Mercer county, West Virginia, December 16, 1885, she a daughter of the late Luke and Nannie Mildred Worrell.
Mrs. Young was a member of the First Baptist church and widow of the late Clayton C. Young who died in 1928.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the First Baptist church by the Rev. H. U. Thompson, pastor. Burial will follow in the Greenbrier Burial Park.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Madge Surber, Mrs. Helen Whittle of this city, Mrs. Hazel Wiseman, Indianapolis, Ind.; three sons, Garnet Young at home, Edward Young, Hinton, Harry Young, Columbia, S. C.; a stepson, Julian Young, Lexington, Kentucky; one sister, Mrs. S. A. Settle, Southside; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
The body will be returned to the home on Southside this afternoon from the E. M. Meadows Funeral Home on Park Avenue.
