Mrs. Blanchfield was born Sept 4,1919 in Buchannon, West Virginia, the daughter of Thomas & Rosa Lewis Johnson. She married Walter Willard Blanchfield on Sept 19, 1938 in Hagerstown, Maryland.
Surviving are two sons; Walter Junior Blanchfield,Jr. of Stephenson, VA., and Elmer Willard Blanchfield of Stephens City, VA.; three daughters, Virginia Hollar of Woodstock, VA., Mary Welzel of Winchester, VA., & Evelyn Drummond of Stephenson, VA.
A sister - Thelma Johnson and a brother Lawrence Johnson both of Stephens City, Va.
A brother Thomas Johnson of Stephens City, VA. predecesed her.
She had 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She was buried at Mt. Hebron Cemetary, Winchester, VA. Jones Funeral Home did the arrangements.
