PULASKI, VA.. Aug. 5.— Mrs. J. E. Watts, formerly Miss Bradshaw, of Highland county, died here yesterday of typhoid fever after an illness of only a week, and was buried in Oakwood Cemetery here. Mrs. Watts leaves surviving her husband and one child, who have the sympathy of the entire community.

Death of Mrs J. Bassett Watts.
The sad intelligence of the death of Mrs J Bassett Watts which occurred at her home near Pulaski City, was received here on Monday.
This estimable lady was Miss Cornelia Bradshaw daughter of Mr J B Bradshaw of McDowell. On the 20 of June 1900 she married Mr J Bassett Watts and has since made her home near Pulaski City. She is about 30 years of age, and leaves a husband and one child.
