  The Beckley Register-Herald, Online Edition, 3 May 2007 RUPERT ? Lawrence Remington Cohenour, 91, passed away early Tuesday morning, May 1, 2007, at his home in Rupert following a long illness. Born April 25, 1916, he was a son of the late Lula Bell Cohenour. Mr. Cohenour was a member of Mount Zion Primitive Baptist Church of Ronceverte, and was a retired coal miner. Other than his mother, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Irene Crane Cohenour; a son, Paul Darrell Cohenour; and a granddaughter, Stephanie Avin Cohenour. Survivors include his wife, Marguerite Bennett Cohenour; a daughter, Juanita Baldwin and husband, Roy, of Boones Mill, Va.; two sons, Eugene Cohenour and wife, Eleanor, of Milford, Va., and Charles Cohenour and wife, Kathy, of Manassas, Va.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Wallace & Wallace Chapel, Rainelle, with Pastor Norvel P. Mann officiating. Burial will follow in Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may call 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Arrangements by Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle.
