JOHN PRESTON HUNTER, 85, OF the Hemitite area of Covington, formerly of White Sulphur Springs, W.Va., died Monday in Allegheny Regional Hospital, Low Moor, after a long illness. He was born in Greenbrier County. Surviving: wife, Gladys D.; daughters, Mrs. Margaret Pickering of White Sulphur Springs, Mrs. Mary F. Myers of Ronceverte, W.Va.; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. Service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Shanklin Funeral Home, White Sulphur Springs, with the Rev. Leroy Crane officiating. Burial will be in Greenbrier Memorial Gardens, Lewisburg, W.Va. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
