IRELAND — Charlene Sue Mick-Blagg-Foulks passed away March 30, 2016, at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, OH, following a brief illness.
Sue was born February 4, 1938, at the family home on McChord Run Road in Ireland, WV, to the late Hobart "Sam" and Charlotte Davis Mick.
Besides her parents, her husband, Donald Foulks, preceded her in death.
Sue graduated from Walkersville High School in 1955 and earned a Business Education Degree from Glenville State College in 1959. After college, Sue worked in the business office at Jackson's Mill, WV, and then taught in the public schools in Hamilton Township, Tecumseh, Zanesville, and Lancaster, Ohio, until she retired in 1996. Sue was a member of the Shamrock CEOs Club, former volunteer at Our Neighbor in Weston and attended the Ireland United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her sister, Sandy King (Denton "Buzz"); her former husband, Bob Blagg (Christy) and her children, Kimberly Blagg and Julie Henestofel (Mike); her grandchildren, Brandon Henestofel (Heather), Justin Henestofel (Angel) and Timothy Ousley; and her great-grandchildren Madison, Kathryn, Evan, Joseph and Kaylee.
Visitation will be at the Ireland UM Church in Ireland, WV, on Friday, April 1, 2016, from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Ireland UM Church on Saturday, April 2, 2016, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dwayne Brown officiating. Burial will follow at McCutcheon Chapel Cemetery.
