C Charles Smith Taken By Death EAST RAINELLE, Nov. 7 - Charles LeRoy Smith, 74, retired electrician, died at his home at Landisburg on Wednesday evening, November 6, following a long illness. His wife is deceased. Mr. Smith is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Ola Humphrey, Landisburg; Mrs. Surelda Scott, at home; Mrs. Gladys Berry, Winona; Mrs. Maggie Berry, Oakland, Calif., and a son, C. L. Smith of Landisburg. Fourteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Smith will be held on Saturday at 1 o'clock at the Clifftop Church, Rev. J. E. Brown of East Rainelle officiating. Burial will be made at the End of the Trail Cemetery. The body is at the Wallace & Wallace Mortuary in East Rainelle, and will be removed to the home late today.
