  The Charleston Gazette, 4 July 1990 MRS. JANET LEE HOOD, 54, OF Rainelle, died July 2, 1990, at home after a short illness. Smathers Funeral Home, Rainelle is in charge of arrangements. The Charleston Gazette, 5 July 1990 HOOD, JANET LEE SERVICE WILL BE 2 P.M. FRIDAY AT RAINELLE UNITED Methodist Church with the Rev. Phyllis Harvey officiating. Burial will be in Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Smathers Funeral Home, Rainelle. The family suggests donations to Rainelle United Methodist Church choir or worship committee. She was an employee of Appalachian Power Co., customer service department, Rainelle, and a member of Rainelle United Methodist Church, church choir, parsonage and worship committees and past secretary of administrative board. Surviving: daughter, Lee Robin Hood of Sarasota, son, Michael of Charleston; sisters, Jean Ramey of Jacksonville, Fla., Patricia Wetzel of Bradenton, Fla.
