WELLS, Charles Hobart - Service for Mr. Wells, 59, of Dawson, Greenbrier County, who died Friday, will be conducted at 2 p.m. EST tomorrow in Meadow Grove Baptist Church in Dawson by Rev. Hobart Quesenberry, Rev. H. A. Merrill and Rev. Emory McGraw. Burial will be in Wallace Memorial Cemetery near Clintonville. The body will be taken to the church from Wallace and Wallace mortuary chapel in East Rainelle one hour before service. Mr. Wells died in C & O Hospital at Clifton Forge, Va., after a three week illness. He was a house painter and a member of Lodge 372, IOOF, in East Rainelle. Surviving are his wife Stella; one daughter, Mrs. Hilda Catherine Hedrick of Smoot; one son, Max Wells of Arlington, Va.; one sister, Mrs. Mamie Walkup of Dawson; four brothers, John of Danese, Ray of Dawson, Gordon of Pontiac, Mich., and Lacy Wells of Ansted; and two grandchildren.
