  The Beckley Post-Herald, 19 January 1977 FORT SPRING (RNS) - Funeral services for Mrs. Beatrice Marie Dowdy, 58, died Tuesday morning in a Fairlea hospital of natural causes. She had lived in Fort Spring 20 years and was a member of the Sinks Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Edward (Joann) Conner of Flint, Mich.; two sisters, Mrs. Debra M. White of Airville, Pa., and Mrs. Mayda Mahone of Richmond, Va., and five grandchildren. The body is at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Ronceverte.
