Lona Mary Vanpelt
BECKLEY - Lona Mary Vanpelt, 88, of Beckley died Sept. 23, 1988, in Heartland Nursing Home.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving: son, Alva Ray Vanpelt of Pennsylvania; daughters, Martha Gillis, Lina Hamrick, Sally McCourt and Elsie Williams, all of Webster Springs, Mary Anne Vanpelt of Lewisburg; brother, Robert Blagg of Westover; half brother, Vincent Blagg of Florida; several grandchildren, great- and great-great-grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs, with the Rev. Minter Lynch officiating. Burial will be in Alex Gregory Cemetery, Webster Springs. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
