Mrs. Blagg Dies At Home
Mrs. Desta Sommer Blagg of 205 Sheridan Circle, South Charleston, wife of Dr. B. V. Blagg, died Tuesday evening at her home after a long illness.
She was a member of the South Charleston First Baptist Church, the South Charleston Eastern Star Lodge, the South Charleston Womans Club, the Fort Hill Garden Club, the Kanawha Medical Society Auxiliary and the Charleston Rose Society.
Also surviving are two sons, Dr. John S. Blagg of South Charleston and Benjamin V. Blagg II of Washington, D.C.; a daughter, Mrs. William Burlingame of Charleston; three brothers, Arville E. Sommer and John W. Sommer, both of South Side and Earle Sommer of Tampa, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Walter Caufman of Gallipolis, Ohio and Mrs. Brooks Tallman of Charleston; and five grandchildren.
The body is at Snodgrass mortuary in South Charleston.
