Trecie A. Beamer

SUTTON -- Trecie A. Beamer, 94, of Sutton, WV, died November 11, 2003, at Braxton Health Care Center, Sutton, WV, following a long illness.

She was born May 20, 1909, in Braxton County, the daughter of the late Henry Hayes and Rachel Pullen Blagg.

Mrs. Beamer was a member of the Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church and a homemaker.

Also preceding her in death were her husband, Ward T. Beamer, who died September 22, 1980; one son, Wade Keith Beamer; one brother, Vaughn E. Blagg; three sisters, Mary Johnson, Beulah Rhea and Lula Cunningham; one son-in-law, Verde Kniceley; one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter.

She is survived by two sons, Walter Beamer and wife Iva of Sutton, WV, and Donald Beamer and wife Carol of Glenville, WV; one daughter, Ilene Kniceley of Stuarts Draft, VA; two brothers, Raymond Blagg of Columbus, OH, and Henry Blagg of Salem, WV; one sister, Athalene Helmick of Salem, WV; one daughter-in-law, Norma Beamer of Corydon, IN; 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 14, 2003, at 1 p.m. at Greene-Robertson Funeral Home, Sutton, WV, with Rev. Bryan Groves officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Hebron Cemetery, Sutton, WV. Friends may call Thursday, November 13, 2003, from 6-9 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church, c/o Audra King, 4650 Airport Road, Sutton, WV 26601.
