Fire Takes Man's Life
MEADOW BRIDGE (RNS) - Bobby Lane, 27, died in a house fire early Tuesday morning near here.
Meadow Bridge firemen discovered Lane's body while sifting through ashes of the house. They said neighbors informed them the house had been occupied. The house was located near Crickmer, off U.S. 19 near Danese.
Born March 8, 1942, at True, he was the son of Robert and Elsie Fox Lane of Danese. Other survivors include his wife, Kendall Blagg Lane; a son, Bobby Darrell, Jr., at home; four sisters, Mrs. Maxine Cox of Meadow Bridge, Mrs. Dora Fleshman of Columbus, Ohio, and Delia Gale and Robin Gale, both at home, and two brothers, William of Layland and Phil of Pontiac, Mich. He was a coal miner.
The body is at the Don Smathers Funeral Home Chapel in East Rainelle. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
