RUPERT - Amos Henry Tharp, 73, of Rupert, died Friday at his home after a long illness.
He was a retired miner and a member of the Amwell Baptist Church. He had been a resident of Rupert for 40 years.
Surviving: wife, Muriel; daughters, Mrs. Frankie Burke of Hobart, Ind., Mrs. Phyllis Bicka of Hopewell, Va., Mrs. Delores S. Nicholas of Rupert, Mrs. Gladys Holmes of Hillsboro, and Mrs. Francis Holmes of Renick; son, Verl of California; brothers, George and Ray of Pennsylvania and Clyde of Maryland.
The body is at the Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Rainelle.
