She was born on December 19, 1946 in Rupert; she was the daughter of the late Robert Elmer Crane and Laura Mae Stout. She is preceded in death by her life partner of 55 years, Johnie Jefferson Knapp, Sr. and her son, Johnie Knapp, Jr; brother, Robert Crane and her sisters, Brenda Cash and Glenna Cochrum. Charlotte was an avid animal lover and gardener. She was a 20 year retiree from Greenbrier County Schools. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved being outdoors and spending time with her family. She will be missed greatly by all. Survivors are her son, son, Richard (Tammy) Crane; daughter, Raonda (Mark) Gray; grandchildren, Michael Crane, Dennis (Haley) Crane, Jonah Griffin, Tristan Edenfield, Trevor Edenfield, Moses Gray and Jaiden Gray; great grandchildren, Sutter Crane and Caspen Crane; brother, Cody Crane; extended family and a host of friends. Per her wishes , she will be cremated and no service.
