  The Beckley Register-Herald, Online Edition, 23 April 2004 DAWSON - Macie C. Hill, 88, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2004, at her home following a short illness. Born March 9, 1916, in Dawson, she was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Martha F. Hayes Zimmerman. Mrs. Hill worked as a sales clerk at G.C. Murphy in Rain-elle and was a member of Meadow Grove Baptist Church of Dawson where she was a former member of the Missionary Circle and BPW. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. Survivors include two daughters, Nyla Jones and husband, Robert, of Dawson and Barbara Mathews and husband, Tom, of Eldora, Iowa; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Wallace and Wallace Chapel, Rainelle, with the Revs. Roy Teubert and Leroy Crane officiating. Burial will follow in Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Arrangements by Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle.
