  The Charleston Gazette, Online Edition, 6 July 1998 CHARMCO - James C. "Jim" Shawver, 72, of Charmco, Greenbrier County, died July 4, 1998, in VA Medical Center, Beckley, after a long illness. He was a disabled miner and a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of John Page VFW Post 4484, Rainelle, and a 34-year resident of Charmco. Surviving: sons, Donald of Covington, Va., Ronald of Meadow Bridge, J.D. of Charmco; sister, Betty Shelton of Chillicothe, Ohio; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle, with the Rev. Kermit Hunter officiating. Burial will be in Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
