  The Charleston Gazette, 15 March 1985 ARDELL KAY "WIMPY" MARTIN, 48, OF Dawson, Greenbrier County, died Wednesday at home of an apparent heart attack. He was a disabled employee of the A&P grocery and was an Army veteran. Surviving: sisters, Gretha Childers, Nancy Thomas and Jane "Bonnie" Wells, all of Baltimore, Md.; brothers, Robert of Dawson, Whorlen of Clintonville. Service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday in Meadow Grove Baptist Church, Dawson, with the Rev. Leroy Crane officiating. Burial will be in Frantz Cemetery, Dawson. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Smathers Funeral Home, Rainelle.
