SCOTT, Mrs. Lawrence Maude - 73, of Maxwelton, Greenbrier County, died Thursday at her home after a long illness. She was born at Crawley, a member of Cllifton Presbyterian Church and Eastern Star, attended Marshall College and A.B.I. at Alderson. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Maurice Soweyer of Elkhart, Ind.; three sons, George M. of Parkersburg, William E., Jr. of Livermore, Calif., and James F. Scott of Maxwelton; one brother, Leslie G. Burns of Crawley; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Clifton Presbyterian Church at Maxwelton by Rev. P. Dean Bowyer and Rev. Jack Arbuckle. Burial will be in Clifton Cemetery. The body will be taken from McGraw Funeral Home at Lewisburg to the church an hour before the service.
