  The Beckley Register-Herald, Friday, 26 December 2003 Robert Paul "Bob" Haley, 83, of Beckley, passed away on Friday, Dec. 19, 2003, at his home. Mr. Haley was born July 26, 1920, at Tolleytown. He was a mechanic for United States Army and was a member of the UMWA. He was an animal lover, enjoyed spending time fishing and was a very generous and giving man. His wife, Joan White Haley, preceded him in death in April 1998. He is survived by two sons, Joe Haley of Shady Spring and Roger Haley of Lima, Ohio; a daughter, Sue Haley of Ohio; his children's mother, Eva Lilly and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews who will sadly miss him. He will also be fondly remembered by Sissy and the staff of Sissy's Video and Tanning, whom he loved to visit. Services will be noon Saturday at Blue Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Beckley, with the Rev. Darrell McNeely officiating. Entombment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Mausoleum of Faith, Beckley. Friends may call one hour before the service Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Raleigh County Animal Shelter, Gray Flats, Beckley, WV 25801. Arrangements by Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley.
