From Dawson
After having some very hard rains and paying their taxes the farmers of this section are now enjoying some fine fall weather.
The flu has almost died out in this section. Most of its victims are now able to be out and going.
So far the only fatal case of the flu in this vicinity was Mr. Sam Carter, who died at the home of his mother-in-law, Mrs. Ida Walkup. Mr. Carter is of the little Sewell community. He died after a lingering illness of some two weeks. He was about 20 years old and had not been married a year. Mrs. Carter is now at the home of her mother.
