  West Virginia Daily News, 20 March 1995 Mrs. Bonnie Vesta Walkup, age 89, of Clintonville died Saturday, March 18 at a Clifton Forge, VA nursing home, following a long illness. Born February 8, 1906 in Nicholas County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph H. and Dora Alva Cook McClung. Mrs. Walkup was a homemaker and member of Mt. Urim Baptist Church in Green Valley. She was preceded in dead by her husband, Orville M. Walkup in 1967; sons, Herman Keith in 1981 and Warren J. in 1988; sister, Betty Holcomb and brother Waldo McClung. Survivors include daughters, Margie Sykes of Clintonville and Patsy Craft of Clifton Forge; sisters, Carrie Kolb of Kandelstown, MD, Malena Blofeld of Fairlea and Hilda Crane of Crawley; 19 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren. Services will be 2PM Tuesday at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home Chapel, Rainelle with Revs. Roy Gwinn and Garlin Groves officiating. Burial will be in Wallace Memorial Cemetery at Sam Black Church.
