  The Beckley Register-Herald, Beckley, WV, Online Edition, 15 Aug 2010 Rondalene Walker, 87, of 412 Ohio Ave., Rainelle, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2010, at her home of an apparent heart attack. Born in Crawley, WV, on Dec. 30, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Gladys (Beitz) Walkup. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter (Wally) Walker, a sister, Audrey Christiansen, and three brothers, Larry, Clyde, and Carroll Walkup. Rondalene is survived by her daughter, Doris Walker Cobb, her husband, Ronald, and their son, Scott. She has two remaining brothers, Dennis and his wife, Bobbie, of Apache Junction, AZ, and Bill of Baltimore, MD. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Ladies Auxiliary of VFW. She was a former restaurant worker and postmistress of Leslie. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, August 16, 2010, at the Wallace & Wallace Chapel in Rainelle with Pastor Ronald Cobb officiating. Burial will follow at the Wallace Memorial Cemetery at Clintonville. Friends may call from 1 until 2 p.m., before the service. There will be no evening visitation. Arrangements by Wallace & Wallace, Inc., of Rainelle.
