NIMITZ - Mrs. Girtha Belle Williams, 74, died Friday at 7 a.m. in a Hinton hospital after a short illness.
Born at Sand Knob, July 5, 1905, she was a daughter of late late Lewis Edward and Lillie Huffman Cadle.
Mrs. Williams was a memler of the Bluestone Baptist Church and a lifelong resident
of Summers County.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph Williams; three sons, Hiram, John, and William,
and a daughter, Mrs. Lillie Bowles, all of Nimitz; three brothers, David Cadle of China
Grove, N. C. and William and Joe Cadle both of Nimitz; five grandchildren and one
great-grandchild.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Sand Knob United Methodist Church with
the Rev. Darrell Hamm officiating. Burial will be in the Crews Cemetery in Nimitz.
The body will taken to the home Saturday after 4 p.m. from Ronald Meadows Funeral
Parlors in Hinton and to the church one hour prior to services.
Pallbearers will be Frank Richards, Jerry Cox, Cole Dalton, Jack Gill, Charles Cole,
Bill Thompson, Charles Adkins, Jim Bob Lilly, Carl Lilly and Jimmy Harper.
