George Hiser
QUINWOOD - George "Lewis" Hiser, 54, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2001, at the Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea, following a heart attack.
Born Jan. 26, 1947, at Meadow Bluff, he was the son of the late George Washington and Nellie Phipps Hiser.
Mr. Hiser was a construction worker and of the Church of Christ faith.
He was preceded in death by a brother, John Paul Hiser.
Survivors include his wife, Rosetta Hiser of Quinwood; a son, Craig Hiser of Quinwood; a daughter, Shannon Hiser of Frankford; four brothers, Harold Hiser of Bargersville, Ind., Frank Hiser of Covington, Va., Danny Hiser of Rupert and Louis "Benji" Johnston of Rupert; three sisters, Nancy Miller of Green Mountain, N.C., Thelma Flack of Baltimore, Md., and Nena Mitchell of Quinwood; two grandchildren, Taylor Hiser of Frankford and Dakota Anderson of Rainelle.
There will be a private service for the family only.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
