CRANE, Tony T. - 67, of Renick, Greenbrier County, died Tuesday at a Renick store where he was stricken with a heart attack. Mr. Crane belonged to Midland-Seneca Post 69 of the American Legion at Lewisburg. He was a charter member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars post at Lewisburg. He also was a charter member of Pocahontas Lodge 121, AF&AM, of Hillsboro. He was a member of the Baptist Church at Renick and he was a retired mail carrier and farmer. He was a lifelong resident of Renick. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Curry Crane; a son, Richard, at home; five daughters, Mrs. Theda Carlew and Mrs. Cleta Forelick, both of Ashtabula, Ohio, Mrs. Madeline Thompson of McKenzie, Tenn., Mrs. Anna Hinkle of Conneaut, Ohio and Stella Hanna of Renick; two brothers, Okey and Eddie Crane, both of Renick; a sister, Mrs. Daisy Hanna, of Ripley; and nine grandchildren. The body is at Wallace and Wallace mortuary at Lewisburg.
