Our Heavenly Father in His Infinite mercy has called home His faithful son, Lowell D. Crane, on Saturday, March 16, 2002. He was born in Kieffer on March 12, 1913, to Edward and Lee V. Crane. He was preceded in death by his wife, Roxie Crane. He is survived by three daughters, Phyllis Yost of Colorado, Janice Crane and Thelma Winfree of Maryland; a son, Lowell D. Crane of Florida; four stepdaughters, Jean Caudill of North Carolina, Dina Dishman of Arizona, Linda Vestal and Carolyn Shafer of West Virginia; four stepsons, Bill Agee, Harvey Agee and Henry Agee, all of West Virginia, and David Agee of Kentucky; 35 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Crane was a member of the New Covenant Life Church of God where he served as a greeter and in other areas of ministry. His warm smile will be sadly missed by all with whom it was shared. Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Chapel, Rainelle, with the Rev. Susan Erskine officiating. Entombment will follow in Wallace Memorial Mausoleum, Clintonville. Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements by Wallace & Wallace, Rainelle.
