  The Charleston Gazette, 2 October 1993 D. CECIL HINES, 80, OF HINES DIED SEPT. 30, 1993, at home after a short illness. He was a retired self-employed carpenter, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Hines Baptist Church. Surviving: sister, Ollie Young of Charleston; brother, Fred of Canvas. Service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Wallace-Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle, with the Rev. Roger Williams officiating. Entombment will be in Wallace Memorial Mausoleum, Clintonville.
