SERVICE WILL BE 11 A.M. MONDAY AT HIGHLAND Avenue Baptist Church, Mullens, with the Rev. Clifton Gunnels officiating. Burial will be in Surbaugh Cemetery, Rainelle. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Tankersley Funeral Home, Mullens, and at the church one hour before the service. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to Leukemia Research division of the American Cancer Society. Mr. Gillespie, 60, of Mullens, died Thursday in a Charlottesville, Va., hospital after a long illness. He was a 38-year resident of Mullens, a member of Highland Avenue Baptist Church, Mullens. Surviving: daughters, Frances Bright of Mullens, Virginia Webb of Roanoke, Va.; sons, William of Mullens, Dewey of Cornelius, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
