  The Charleston Gazette, Charleston, WV, 21 October 1978 GRAYDON - John Wheeler Dixon Sr., 66, of Graydon, Fayette County, died Friday in General Division, CAMC, after a long illness. He was a lifelong resident of the Graydon area and was a member of Ansted Baptist Church and Masons. Mr. Dixon was a retired employee of Union Carbide at Alloy. Surviving: wife, Nyra; daughters, Mrs. Bobbie Ford of Ansted, Mrs. Ann Smith of Mobile, Ala., Mrs. Jean Burgess of Montgomery; sons, John Jr. of Ansted, Eddie of Marquette, Mich., Steve of Hammond, Ind.; sisters, Mrs. Beulah Burns of Spring Dale, Mrs. Avis Hash of Annaheim, Calif., Mrs. Elsie Kyle of Inglewood, Calif., Mrs. Aleen Cline of Corona, Calif.; brothers, Charles Dixon of Lansing, Eugene Dixon of Bellflower, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; seven greatgrandchildren. Service will be 1 p.m. Monday in Ansted Baptist Church with the Rev. Boyd Sparks and the Rev. Pete Hoge officiating. Burial with Masonic rites will be in Restlawn Memory Gardnes, Victor.
