Emma Legg
Funeral services for Emma Irene Legg, 81, of 107 Warrington Ave., will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home, Lewisburg, W.Va., the Rev. Lowell Reeder officiating. Burial will be in End of the Trail Cemetery, Clintonville, W.Va.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Legg died at 9:50 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2002, at Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center.
She was born Oct. 20, 1920, in Meadow Bluff, W.Va. to William Roy and Mary (Sharp) Miller. She married Albert Heaster in 1938, and he died July 7, 1949. She later married Harold L. Legg on March 8, 1954, and he survives.
Also surviving are a son, Wayne Heaster, Findlay; two daughters, Mrs. Leon (Mary Virginia) Petersen, Deshler; Harolyn Lee Legg, Findlay; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother William "Bill" Miller, Meadow Bluff, W.Va.; and three sisters, Mrs. Roy (Sue) Cruse, Green Valley, Ariz.; Mrs. Dean (Mary Lou) Hutsenpiller, Hendersonville, Tenn.; Mrs. Jesse (Helen) Hutsenpiller, Smoot, W.Va.
She was preceded in death by a son, Merl Heaster.
Mrs. Legg was an office manager for Gerdeman's Insurance Agency, North Baltimore, from 1965-82.
She was a member of OES 265, North Baltimore American Legion Auxiliary 539, State of Ohio Pythian Sisters and St. Mark's United Methodist Church, Findlay.
