Frank T. Yearego, 94, of Parkersburg passed away Friday, Nov. 4, 2005, at his residence.
He was born April 20, 1911, in Glady, W.Va., a son of the late Joseph and Rose Yearego. He and his wife, Myrtle, owned and operated the Roselawn Grocery Store in Parkersburg for 33 years. Frank loved fishing, hunting and coin collecting.
He is survived by one son, Bill Yearego of Davisville; two daughters, Rosemary Freshour and Nina Morehead, both of Parkersburg; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one brother, John Yearego of Dearborn, Mich.; and one sister, Irene Baranek, also of Dearborn.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Surbaugh Yearego, whom he married Feb. 26, 1930; two sons, Bobbie and John Yearego; and one granddaughter, Ramona Freshour.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday at The End of the Trail Cemetery in Greenbrier County, W.Va., with Frank's grandson, the Rev. David Freshour, officiating. The family will receive friends from 3-7 p.m. today at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St., Parkersburg.
