  The Charleston Gazette, Charleston, WV, 29 May 1996 RUPERT - Paul Lestel Fleshman, 49, of Rupert died May 24, 1996, in Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, after a short illness. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Surviving: stepdaughter, Charlotte Elliott of Chesterfield, Va.; mother, Villa Welch Fleshman of Rupert; brothers, Phillip of Bellefontaine, Ohio, Edward of Rupert; half brother, Benny Beare of Charleston. Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Smathers Funeral Home, Rainelle, with the Rev. Ernest Martin officiating. Burial will be in Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville.
