  The Charleston Daily Mail, 7 January 1966 Three Highway Deaths Boost '66 Total To 5 Three highway deaths recorded yesterday boosted the list of traffic fatalities in West Virginia this year to five, compared with eight on this date a year ago. Latest of the road deaths occurred yesterday afternoon in Greenbrier County. Mrs. Sadie Zopp, 83, of Rupert, died of head injuries shortly after admission to Greenbrier Valley Hospital at Ronceverte. Her brother-in-law, Elmer Zopp, 70, and his wife, Etta, 65, also of Rupert, suffered lacerations when the car in which the three were riding collided with another vehicle on U.S. 60 between Lewisburg and Rainelle. She was a member of Amwell Baptist Church. Survivors are a son, William of Rupert; sisters, Mrs. Rose Surbaugh of East Rainelle, Mrs. Zora O'Dell of Alderson, Mrs. Ada Yokum and Mrs. Etta Zopp of Rupert; brothers, Wirt Moses of East Rainelle and Ermil Moses of Rupert; a grandchild and a great-grandchild. The funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home at East Rainelle by the Rev. Pearly Orndorff. Burial will be in End of the Trail Cemetery at Clintonville.
