Dennie LeMoine Lauer, 71, 1573 Vernon St., died at 4:29 p.m. Tuesday at Wabash County Hospital. He was born on April 15, 1923, in Wabash County to Harold and Dorothy (Pennington) Lauer. He married Ruth D. Hunter on Dec. 20, 1945, in Lagro. She survives. A lifelong Wabash County resident, he was a master mold maker at GenCorp Automotive for 31 years. He was a World War II Air Force veteran. Also surviving are one son, Dennie LeMoine Lauer II, Logansport; two daughters, Elanine Darnell, Marion, and Susan Dunn, Wabash; two sisters, Mrs. Marilyn Coonrad, LaFayette, and Doris Beaucamper, Port Angeles, Wash.; three grandchildren, Renee Biehl, Wabash, Nicole Eakright, Indianapolis, and Ruth Ellen Lauer, Logansport; and one great-grandchild, Wynter Dey Biehl. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Eddingfield-DeLaughter Mortuary. The Rev. Bill Moon will officiate. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery; Urbana. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.

Services for Dennie LeMoine Lauer, 71. 1573 Vernon St., were Friday morning at the Eddingfield-Delaughter Mortuary. The Rev. Bill Moon officiated and the organist was Evelyn Davey. Burial was in St. Peter's Cemetery, Urbana. Pallbearers were Mike Bokamper, Jeff Biehl, Randy Baxter, Mark Wallace, Hank Eilts and Bill Givens. Honorary pallbearers were Ted Eilts and Curby Blankenship.
