Martin-Neudecker
Miss Janet Louise Neudecker became the bride of Robert Lewis Martin on Sunday, Nov. 27 at 2 p.m. in St. John's (Leister's) Church, near Westminster. The bride is the daughter of Raymond R. Neudecker and the late Mrs. Marie Neudecker and the bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Guy Miller, Westminster R.D. 5, and the late James A. Martin.
The double-ring candlelight ceremony was performed by the bride's pastor, the Rev. Albert A. Makolin, with the altar arranged with white chrysanthemums and ferns.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a two-piece dress of white brocade with slim skirt, rounded neckline and three-quarter-length sleeves trimmed in fur. Her chapel veil was trimmed at the crown and back with fur bows. Her other accessories were of white satin. She carried a bridal bouquet of red rosebuds with a detachable corsage on a white Bible.
The matron of honor was a cousin of the bride, Mrs. Judy Babb, near Hanover. She wore a turquoise rounded neckline and fitted bodice with a bow at the waistline. Her turquoise fingertip veil featured velvet bow at the crown and had white accessories with a corsage of white carnations.
The best man was James Babb, near Hanover.
A reception followed the ceremony in the church hall, which was decorated with silver and white.
For the wedding trip to Niagara Falls and Canada, the bride wore a beige dress with brown accessories and the corsage lifted from her bouquet.
The bride is a graduate of North Carroll High School and Baltimore Institute and is employed as a secretary by The United Company, Westminster. The bridegroom is a graduate of Francis Scoutt Key High School and is employed at Black and Decker Mfg. Co., Hampstead. The couple will reside at the home of the bride.
