  General Notes:

John Peter was captured along with his sister Mary by the same Indians who killed their father. John is said to have escaped from the Indians and made his way to Philadelphia where he became a cordwainer. The 1790 Pennsylvania census shows him married with 9 children - 5 sons and 4 daughters.
