LEWISBURG ? Kathlene McClung Ferrell, 85, passed away Monday, Jan. 23, 2006, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 19, 1920, at Zenith, to the late Herman Omer and Sadie Ann Miller McClung.
Mrs. Ferrell was a member of the Old Stone Presbyterian Church and a member of the Medical Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Wendell McClung of Richmond, Va.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Dr. Robert Morris Ferrell of Lewisburg; two daughters, Kathlene F. Harrington of Lewisburg, and Patricia Bashen of Lewisburg; a son, Bob Ferrell of Chantilly, Va.; two sisters, Lucille Dickson of Boulder, Colo., and Mary Ann Ware of Bogart, Ga.; three grandchildren, Glenn Lehman of Lewisburg, Robert Shumate of Chicago, Ill., and Christopher Bashen of Chicago, Ill.; and a great-grandchild, John Ferrell Lehman.
Graveside rites will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Rosewood Cemetery with the Rev. Dexter Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy be made to the American Cancer Society.
