RAINELLE - Juanita "Gig" Glendalene O'Dell, 79, of Rainelle, formerly of Rupert, died Monday morning, June 30, 2008, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, Fairlea.
Born July 7, 1928, at Quinwood, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Andy Clayton and Lenida June McClung.
Gig was a member of Quinwood Baptist Church, a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood O'Dell, in 2003.
Survivors include her son, Roger O'Dell and wife, Ann, of Rainelle; her daughter, Sue McGrew and husband, Jack, of High Point, N.C.; four grandchildren, Josh O'Dell and wife, Shelia, of Daniels, Kendra Lewis and husband, Keith, of Yuma, Ariz., Laura Davis and husband, Zach, of High Point, N.C., and Jaclyn McGrew of High Point, N.C.; and two great-grandchildren, Dylan O'Dell of Daniels and Cole Davis of High Point, N.C.
Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2008, at Wallace & Wallace Chapel in Rainelle, with the Rev. Houston Boothe officiating. Burial will follow in Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville.
Friends may call 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
