Anna M. Duncan
Anna M. Duncan, age 88, died Saturday, March 18. 1989 at the Pineville Community Hospital. She was born in Rose Hill, Virginia January 5, 1902 a daughter of the late Robert and Russie Haley Carmony. She was a member of the Church of Christ, Calvin, KY. and a retired cook from the Bell County School System at Page School.
Mrs. Duncan was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Carmony, her husband, William "Bill" Duncan, four brothers, Walter Carmony, Homer "Jerd" Carmony, V.T. "Totz" Carmony and H.M. "Hil" Carmony.
She is survived by a daughter, Juanita Duncan, Pineville; a son, Delmar Muriel Duncan, Alma, MI.; a daughter-in-law, Opal Duncan, Calvin, KY., three grandchildren, Michael Duncan, Fenton, MI, Dee Duncan, Derry, NH., David Duncan, Chicago, IL.; two granddaughters-in-law, Nancy Duncan and Judith Duncan; three great grandchildren, James Duncan, Rebecca Duncan and Marcie Duncan, all of Fenton, MI.; three sisters-in-law, Cleo Carmony, Harlan, KY., Della Carmony, Middlesboro, KY., Lorena Carmony, Lafollette, TN.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services were at 2 p.m. Monday, March 20, 1989 at the Arnett Funeral Home Chapel with Dale Turner, minister. Burial was in the Buell Family Cemetery, Calvin, KY. Pallbearers who served were Hugh Delk, Bobby Hendrickson, Robert Saylor, Charles Sharp, Michael Duncan and David Duncan.
Arnett Funeral Home, Pineville, was in charge of arrangements.
