RAINELLE - Loleta Mae Wilt, 76, died Tuesday, May 29, 2001, in Charleston Area Medical Center, Memorial Division, following a short illness.
Born July 26, 1924, at Orient Hill, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Gladys Faulkner Walkup.
Mrs. Wilt was a homemaker, a self-employed hair dresser and a graduate of Crichton High School. She attended First Baptist Church, Rainelle.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Wilt; and two brothers, Wetzel Walkup and Olice Walkup.
Survivors include a daughter, Ann Lively O'Dell and her husband, Roger, of Rupert; a grandson, Josh O'Dell and his wife, Shelia, of Smoot; a granddaughter, Kendra Lewis and her husband, Keith, of Havelock, N.C.; a great-grandson, Dylan Tyler O'Dell of Smoot; two sisters, Lucille Campbell of Summersville and Lenora Elmore of Rainelle; and a brother, Oswald Walkup of Marfrance.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Smathers Funeral Chapel, Rainelle, with the Rev. Dana Gatewood officiating.
There will be no visitation.
The family requests donations of sympathy be made to Greenbrier Valley Hospice.
