SUMMERSVILLE - L.N. "Buzz" McCutcheon II, 66, of Summersville died May 13, 1998, at home after a long illness.
He was former mayor of Summersville, a graduate of West Virginia Institute of Technology and the American Institute of Banking, former president of the Nicholas County Bank, Summersville, a member of West Virginia Independent Bankers Association, Summersville Lions Club, the Chamber of Commerce, former chairman of the Summersville Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees, a member, elder and deacon of Summersville Presbyterian Church and an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving: wife, Joan McAbee McCutcheon; daughters, Maryanne Womack of Atlanta, Susan Turbeville of Delray Beach, Fla., Markey Smith of Winter Haven, Fla.; stepdaughter, Karin Hopkins of Atlanta; stepson, Dana Conner of Burns, Tenn.; sister, Martha McCutcheon Perilli of Summersville; five grandchildren.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Summersville Presbyterian Church with the Rev. James Crouch officiating. The Body was cremated. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Greenbrier Valley Hospice, 610 Church St., Summersville, W.Va 26651.
