Far too young, Heaven gained another angel from the Thomas family on April 10, 2016. Aaron Nicole Belcher was born August 18, 1979. She was the daughter of Cindy Thomas and Jerry Clevenger, both of Canvas, West Virginia. She was a 1997 graduate of Nicholas County High School, attended Fairmont State University, and was a former employee of Good Evening Ranch in Canvas, West Virginia, but her best accomplishment was her children Evelyn Jade Thomas and Isabella Dawn Thomas.
Aaron is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Gladys Carrol Thomas Gibson; and great grandparents Charles and Gladys Hedrick, Rupert and Shelma Thomas and cousin Jonathan Matthew Dixon Thomas.
Aaron is survived by her two beautiful daughters Evelyn Jade Thomas and Isabella Dawn Thomas, her parents Cindy Thomas and Jerry Clevenger (Patty), grandfather Clement "Bo" Gibson, grandmother Dolly Clevenger, Brother Steven Belcher (Milissa) Sister Carrol Dawn Bruffy (Matt) niece and nephew Lilian and Luke, companion Jamie Propps and very special friend of the family Tom Kamm. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles Bobby and Robin Thomas, Buddy and Teresa Hedrick, Junie and Darla Thomas, Jeff and Lorrie Thomas, Mike and Kim Thomas and Rhonda and Wayne Pennington and a more than normal amount of cousins, family and friends!
There are no words to explain how close Aaron's family is and what her absence means to it. Time and miles may separate but the love was always there. Her cousins were like siblings, growing up and sharing everything. Aaron was the second born granddaughter and was instinctively motherly and responsible at a young age. Her inherited cooking skills were ridiculously good. She was an old soul with the biggest heart of anyone you ever knew. She was genuine and sincere. Most of all, Aaron cared deeply for her family and for her children. Her beautiful, smiling face will be severely missed by all who knew and loved her.
Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Chapel in Rainelle with Rev. John Mullens officiating. Burial will follow at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home one hour prior to service.
