  Daughter of William H. and Osie O. (Nicely) Blake. Beckley Post Herald, Beckley, WV, 7 Nov 1952 Mrs. Bessie Hunter Dies In Hospital RUPERT, Nov. 6 - Mrs. Bessie Blake Hunter, wife of S. E. Hunter of Rupert, died this afternoon in a Ronceverte hospital following a few weeks illness. Mrs. Hunter had undergone a major operation early in October at a Virginia hospital, and was removed to Ronceverte a short time after returning to her home and after she developed pneumonia. She is survived by her husband, two sons, Warren and Leslie; a step-son, Melvin Hunter of Rupert; and a step-daughter, Mrs. Ethel Hess of St. Albans. The body is at Nickell Mortuary where funeral arrangements are incomplete.
